We are over the moon about this adorable curvy girl, she just came to us from the City of Stockton Animal Shelter. Even though she’s got some healthy weight goals to achieve, she’s still young at around 7-8 years old and has the sweetest personality.

The only thing missing, is an AWESOME name to match everything else about her. That’s where YOU come in.

We toasted tea cups, we broke scones with our friends, and we raised some serious dough for Dachshunds and Friends Rescue. Our first annual tea benefit was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible circle of dedicated animal lovers – we even had supporters flying in from Oregon and Washington to join us!

A huge thank you to all those who came and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Montrose T-Room, we couldn’t do it without you! We’re already planning for next years event. Next big DAFR event will be in October at Hamburger Mary’s…stay tuned for more details!

How does a SoCal doxie lover know celebrate spring? They throw a party in wine country! That’s right, coming up next is the Wine Country Wiener Fest presented by Temecula Valley Dachshund Club, on April 15, 2018 at Mount Polamar Winery.

Join Dachshunds and Friends Rescue and bring along your “low riders” for the cutest party of the year. Festivities include the Dexter’s Derby Dachshund Races along with tasty treats, family-friendly games, shopping, dachshunds available for adoption and rescue, silent auction, door prizes, and wine tasting! Plus, it’s FREE!
